Safety – Advanta 2 allows you to set motion alarms when the patient raises their head, sits up, or tries to get out of bed. This bed also comes with “lockout” buttons giving full control of the bed’s function to the caregiver only there is a CPR release handle in case of an emergency.
Bed Positions – the bed lowers and rises from 15” to 32”, the head and knees can be lifted or lowered independently of each other, the Advanta 2 can be adjusted to the Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg positions – meaning you can lift the legs above the head and vice versa (see video)
There is more to the Advanta 2: It comes with a one-button dining position that sits the patient up for meals (up to 90 degrees) it also comes with an integrated scale so you can can weight the patient from a sitting or lying position.
