The Allevia Duo pressure mattress incorporates a step-up/step-down hybrid foam system along with an extra quiet pump (when used as dynamic mattress). Additionally, the mattress can be used without a pump, making it suitable for high-risk service users.
To address heel surface contact, the mattress is equipped with a clinically-proven 90 mm (3.5 in) heel slope, effectively minimising pressure in this area.
For added versatility, optional evacuation straps are available. In the event of a fire, these straps can be easily pulled out and used to secure service users to the mattress using the safety fasteners. Convenient handles are also located on the sides of the mattress, ensuring safe and secure service user movement.
