The Dynamic Air 3-1 Alternation Mattress by MedPlus was designed to help patients who are at risk of developing or have already developed pressure ulcers. The Dynamic Air is made up of a 2” convoluted foam base with plush, polythermal cells that provide comfort through pressure reduction. This powerful mattress system not only manages air pressure, but it also wicks away moisture from the patient’s body, further reducing the risk of pressure ulcers and bedsores. 10 digital comfort settings allow for custom comfort for each patient. An Auto Firm function fully inflates the mattress to quickly transfer a patient in or out of the bed The Dynamic Air 3-1 Alternation Mattress also comes standard with an integrated glide sheet for patient transfers.
Functions include 3-1 alternation therapy and pulsation therapy in order to increase blood flow to the patient’s body and lower their risk of pressure ulcers. The CPR Deflation function can deflate the mattress system in just 20 seconds in emergency situations. The Manual Happy Heel function creates less pressure in the bottom cells of the bed, decreasing the risk of heel shear. The Dynamic Air 3-1 Alternation Mattress is outfitted with visual and audio alarms in case of the low pressure or loss of power and is available in standard or bariatric models.
