The Lumex 565 Preferred Care Reclining Chair is designed to be both flexible and comfortable, with reduced armrest and seat heights, enabling the recliner to fit under dining/activity tables. This sleeker design also allows residents to “scoot” and more easily reposition the Hospital Chair by themselves. Designed with individual comfort in mind, the Lumex Preferred Care Recliner features a unique suspension system that self-adjusts to each person, cradling the resident from head to heel.
The Gerichair’s back can recline in an infinite number of positions between 95 degrees and 145 degrees. The patented reclining back mechanism can be locked in any position by the caregiver. The Lumex Hospital Recliner is designed to spread patient weight and avoid “bottoming out” in any position. The Preferred Care Recliner’s upholstery is sulfide stain, mildew, and oil resistant, and allows easy to access to the frame.
The Lumex 565 is made of a durable epoxy coated welded steel frame which is easy to clean and maintain, supporting up to 250 lbs. The Medical Recliner has extra-wide arms and side panels to provide more comfort and support. Two front swivel casters and two rear locking casters enable the Preferred Care Recliner to be easily maneuvered in small spaces and moved down hallways.
