Medline – Bordered Gauze Adhesive Island Dressing is a multi-layer dressing that helps heal partial and full-thickness wounds. The first contact layer protects the wound and is non-adherent, meaning that it will not stick to granulating tissue. The second layer is a soft pad that cushions the wound and absorbs drainage. Layer three is a non-woven backing with an adhesive border that secures the wound dressing to the skin. This layer is also water resistant. The adhesive border eliminates the need for a secondary bandage or wrap to hold the dressing in place. This product is latex free and sterile.
