The IBIS® Wheelchair-to-Car Access System, designed and manufactured by Para Mobility, is a breakthrough solution that enables people with disabilities or limited mobility to safely and comfortably transfer into a car, wagon, SUV, or 4WD vehicle.
Unlike traditional vehicle access systems, the IBIS attaches directly to the existing door hinges, eliminating the need for any permanent vehicle modifications. This gives users the freedom to travel in multiple vehicles without complicated installations or costly alterations.
Powered by the vehicle’s 12-volt auxiliary outlet, the IBIS is operated by a caregiver using the included hand control. With the press of a button, the caregiver can gently guide the user into the vehicle—without any manual lifting, reducing physical strain and increasing safety for both the caregiver and the passenger.
